Who

The Community Garden & Shed is for the community of Strathroy and surrounding areas in Omagh, this can be individuals, community groups, pre-school groups, after-school groups, men’s groups, women’s groups etc.

What

We will have a polytunnel, raised beds, a community shed for indoor activities & crafts, volunteering opportunities, there will be a chance to learn new skills lead by experienced instructors.

Where

In the Strathroy Community. We are currently in discussions with stakeholders on the best location for the garden & shed.

When

Now, we have already held events in the Strathroy Community and will be holding an open event on the first Saturday of every month, these events are open to everyone wherever you come from, keep an eye on our Facebook Group for information.

Why

Strathroy Community Garden & Shed was been established to provide health & wellbeing programmes in the local community. Supporting people who may be isolated or suffering from depression/anxiety. Providing a range of indoor & outdoor gardening and alternative therapies to promote health and relaxation.
